Tour of the Bali factory

Fields of fabric

Today I spent meeting the Bali factory workers and seeing the fabric dyeing process first hand.  At first glance the fields look like they have crops growing but it is something much more exciting, hand dyed fabric!  I walked around the fields of the "fabric farm" and learned more about the extensive water filtration system and all the the many steps involved in creating our beautiful fabric.  In a few days I will be working with them hands on, I cant wait!

  1. I'm not sure I have words...I actually stopped breathing while looking at those amazing photos of the fabrics, the people and their craftsman/woman ship! FABULOUS!
    Thank you for sharing :)
